Upon arrival at Maun Airport, Central Kalahari staff will meet and assist you with your luggage before
transferring you to your hotel. After check-in, take time to relax and refresh. Later, you’ll meet your
guide for a detailed safari briefing and to complete the necessary formalities.
Your adventure begins with a scenic 3½-hour drive to the vast Makgadikgadi Salt Pans — a surreal
landscape of endless white sands and open skies. Enjoy a peaceful night under a canopy of stars, and
an early morning walk across the shimmering pans.
Continue to the enchanting Kubu Island, a rocky outcrop crowned with ancient baobab trees. The
smooth, rounded granite boulders here are said to resemble hippos! Enjoy the solitude, walk among the
baobabs, and witness a spectacular sunset — a photographer’s dream. Dinner is served shortly after
sundown.
After breakfast, you’ll drive back to Maun and check into your hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure or
explore the town with your guide’s assistance if you wish to shop or sightsee.
Today, experience the tranquillity of the Okavango Delta on a traditional mokoro (dugout canoe)
excursion. Glide silently through crystal-clear channels as your poler guides you between water lilies
and reeds. Enjoy a picnic lunch on one of the islands while watching elephants, antelopes, and birdlife
at a safe distance. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
After breakfast, transfer to a beautifully prepared mobile camp inside Moremi Game Reserve. Enjoy
a warm welcome drink and orientation to your tented camp.
Moremi is one of Africa’s richest wildlife areas, and your days here will be filled with thrilling game
drives — early morning and late afternoon. Expect to encounter elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs,
and abundant birdlife.
Relax during the midday hours, enjoy hearty meals, and soak in the wild sounds of the bush under
starlit skies.
Travel north to Savute, the land of dramatic wildlife interactions. After lunch, set out for a short
afternoon game drive around the famous Leopard Rock in search of its elusive namesake.
Enjoy a full-day safari exploring the Savute Marsh — known for its large elephant
herds, buffalo, and the resident Marsh Pride of lions. A bush lunch will be served under the shade of an
acacia tree before returning to camp.
Continue to Kasane, arriving in time for the iconic Chobe River sunset cruise, where elephants and
hippos line the riverbanks as the sun dips below the horizon.
Cross into Zimbabwe for a full-day visit to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the
World. Enjoy optional activities such as a guided tour of the Falls, curio shopping, or even a scenic
helicopter flight (activities at own cost). Return to Kasane in the evening.
(overnight here if your departure airport is Victoria Falls (Accommodation here not included)
After breakfast, transfer to Kasane Airport for your onward flight. End of safari.
